Equestrian Photo Safari in the Mountains

Come enjoy this rare opportunity to photograph beautiful horses in the mountains.

Up to 30 horses of various breeds will be participating in this equestrian themed event. Capacity of participants is 10 so be sure to register early.

Date: Saturday, September 16, 2023

Time: From 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Location: Whitefish Horse Camp, Crescent Lake, Oregon (about three hours from Portland.) It is highly recommended that you carpool and stay overnight. 

Cost: In addition to the small fee for this event, participants will be required to give our horse models and their respective riders media-sized images at no charge as a token of gratitude for their time. If riders would like anything more, they will be informed that they can purchase products directly from the photographer at regular price. 

Lodging: If you need overnight accommodation, there will be people camping on the lake at Spring Camp, Contorta Flat, and Crescent Lake Campground. There are also accommodations at Hoodoo’s Crescent Lake Lodge and Resort on the other end of the lake. 

Parking: The park does have a day-use fee for parking.
