Beth Brinston

Beth Brinston is a Master Photographer, CPP and FP-OR, APAI, Accred. PPOC has been an OPPA member since 2017. She started competing at the PPA print competition level in that same year and became an approved OPPA Juror in 2021. She is passionate about print competition and believes that competing is some of the most valuable education available to photographers to help master their craft. Beth has also been a two-time Grand Imaging Award Nominee at the International Print Competition hosted by PPA. She runs a part-time photography business specializing in Pet Photography in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Lisa Dillon

Lisa Dillon is a Master Craftsman Photographer and CPP from Portland Oregon. She has also earned the Fellow of Photography degree and Honorary Fellow of Photography  from OPPA.  She is in her 19th year of business and specializes in high school senior, business and family photography. Lisa is the 2023 OPPA President, and she is a past president of the Professional Photographers of Oregon (PPO), and Oregon Professional Photographers Association (OPPA). Lisa is an approved juror for the OPPA and is an Approved Affiliate Juror for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  Lisa served as a PPA Councilor representing Oregon from 2013-2019.

Aaron Hockley

Aaron Hockley is a event, commercial, and fine art photographer who bridges the boundary between the technology and photography worlds. His professional work focuses on building relationships with clients who use his images to drive business. He enjoys experimenting with the worlds of abstract and fine art photography, often bringing unique perspectives to scenes we see every day. In 2015 he was awarded third place for Illustrative/Commercial images at PPA’s Grand Imaging Awards. Aaron is an active OPPA juror, a recipient of the PPA National Award and the OPPA President’s Award for service, and served as OPPA’s President in 2017 and 2020.  Aaron is currently the Secretary of the Professional Photographers of Washington.  He has attended PPA's IPC Juror Training Workshop and is a PPA Juror in Training.

Thea Martin

M.Photog., FP-OR

Thea Martin has been photographing for over 40 years and had a camera in her hand as soon as she could walk and spent many hours in her dad’s darkroom.  While she specializes in Fine Art and Nature Photography, she knows her way around a studio as her father is a portrait photographer in Mexico.  She has her Master of Photography Degree from PPA, Fellow of Photography from OPPA, has earned multiple medals by competing at IPC and earned a GIA award from Districts in 2022.  She is an Active for OPPA and part of the Juror Oversight Committee for OPPA and she completed the PPA Juror Training Workshop in 2022.

Sam Tarrel

Sam Tarrel is a Fine Art Portrait and Commercial photographer in Hillsboro, Oregon where he runs his business, Light Science Studios. Sam is extremely active in the photographic community and his passion for photography is rivaled only by his passion for teaching and educating others. His ultimate goal is always to help each student achieve the most they can in their craft. He is very active in the Oregon Professional Photographers Association, and is current Past President.  Sam holds his Certification and multiple degrees from the Professional Photographer of America. He is an informative and engaging instructor, committed to his industry and colleagues, and his students always come away with a greater understanding and confidence in their work after working with him.
