Athletes and bodybuilders have one thing in common, very well defined muscles and body shape. If the client models for fitness commercial work or happens to be on a personal journey of fitness and bodybuilding, the main emphasis will be on the muscles themselves and creating a visual movement

This hands-on workshop will begin by taking you through Jim’s lighting set up and the reasons behind it. He will go over each step that will to start to carve out specific mussel groups.  Communication with your fitness subject is extremely important.  During this first half, you will gain a strong insight as to why this is important.

During the 2nd part of the workshop, he will demonstrate tips and tricks for his post processing that gives that a high impact look and feel.

A PPA member since 2012, Jim Trapp began his Professional Photo­graphic career working and managing portrait studios for various com­panies. With no formal photography education, he started to enroll in professional photography workshops and courses. After joining PPA, he entered his 1st Image competition in 2014. Along this path he realized the value belonging to professional organizations and joined the local af­filiate in Sacramento, CA in 2013 and followed by the State Origination in 2015. Today he runs his own studio specializing in heirloom wall art for families, Weddings and children's portraits.
