Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the world of photography, and savvy photographers will embrace this evolution of how we make and manage our images.

We saw a big shift when the internet changed photography distribution.  We saw a big shift when high-quality digital cameras became affordable for the average photo enthusiast. We're now at the beginning of a third big shift in photography, as AI impacts our industry in numerous ways.

In this forward-looking presentation, we'll observe how artificial intelligence will impact:

• How we create and capture images in our cameras and smartphones
• How we edit, retouch, and prepare our images after capture
• How we catalog and manage our image collection over time

AI used to be the realm of futuristic science fiction novels; today it's impacting your photography.  Like the internet and digital shifts mentioned above, it'll be up to you whether you fight the change, or adapt and embrace a shifted world to keep your photography and business viable.

About Our Speaker

Aaron Hockley, M.Photog.Cr, FP-OR, helps photographers grapple with the intersection of photography and technology.  He writes frequently on his website, TechPhotoGuy.com, and speaks at photographic events around the country.  His images have been selected for inclusion in PPA's Loan Collection, he's been a third-place category winner in PPA's Grand Imaging awards, and he was a World Photographic Cup finalist.
