Dynamic Black & White Portraits - Sam Tarrel

OPPA 2015 Photographer of the year, Sam Tarrel, CPP, FP-OPPA will take you through the capture and post-production process for creating detailed and dynamic black and white portraits. Be sure to bring your cameras and laptops, along with your pen tablets as you will be following along in a step-by-step process with Sam as he takes you through proper lighting and capture of the image, and then the black and white processing that will really make your image stand out! 

Class requirements:

Camera with portrait lens

Laptop with Photoshop 6/Lightroom 5 or CC. 

General competency with Photoshop/Lightroom.

Wacom or similar pen tablet is recommended but not required. 

Desktop computers may be permitted but should be cleared with course coordinator first. 

This workshop is PPA-accredited; PPA attendees who attend the entire session will receive one PPA merit.
